Last week I booked a photoshoot and now my photos are back and I love them!

Yes I am two (maybe three!) stone heavier than I would like and the last few were taken while I had a blinding headache but, they feel like who I am now.

You may know that Jo Gaffney and I regularly invest in photo shoots as it important for us that you see how we change and evolve and also how we don't wait until things are perfect. Life is pefecty imperfect and we are happy with that.

Of course, we know what suits us and how to look our best which does help. But that knowledge comes through understanding colour and style and we do share that with you in our sessions.

One new thing  I did so was to use MyHOCLookBook to put my outfits together and it worked like a dream.

It made it so easy to pull together all the clothes I needed and to accessorise them.

I wanted to keep it simple so I started with my Minnie jeans from Donna Ida as my base.

Then I added in a couple of jackets and some tops, which gave me a lot of different looks.

My Sarah Haran bag was another key item as it is so flexible and can be used day to night.

Once we had finished those shots, I slipped ino my leopard print Angie jumpsuit for a walk up Friar Steet and we got some great fun shots in front of local shops and even in Greyfriars.

For this shoot I used Michelle Morris who is a fabulous Worcester based photographer and does family shots on her farm at Stanford Bridge as well as the personal branding shoot I booked. I would definitely recommend her, in fact she's doing a few more for me on Friday as I wanted some with my dog Delta!
