The bespoke dress

One of the many highlights of my journey has been to meet Clare Sylvester. Often when hearing the word 'bespoke', your mind jumps to the next word being 'expensive'. But not in this case. I would never have imagined that I would ever own anything that had been made just for me.

Clare is the founder of Label C London. From quirky wash bags, to funky tops and jaw dropping wedding dresses, she makes them all.

In a time where we should be thinking of the environment it's the perfect opportunity to buy less but better quality and supporting a small business in the process. Many of the fabrics Clare uses are easy care - machine washable (hurrah I hear your cry) and no ironing required (double cheer!)

My plan is to have as much made a possible before she gets famous....that's my excuse anyway!
