Data and Privacy Policy

This policy applies equally to all European based House of Colour Stylists/Franchisees as well as House of Colour Ltd based here in the UK.

Information we use, how & why
When shopping online with House of Colour Ltd, we ask for information such as your name, email & delivery address and credit or debit card details via our secure partners. A contact telephone number may also be requested so that you can be contacted if there is a problem with the order. All this information is necessary to process & notify you of your order. We may also collect web browsing information so that we can continue to improve the performance of our website.

If you complete purchases using a Client Code to receive the discount then your details including purchases made but not payment details, are shared with the Franchisee who owns the Client Code so that they know when and what their clients have purchased directly.

If you complete any information request forms they will specify before you press the go button what we will use the data collected for and we will only use it for that reason.

If you make use of our online booking systems with our Stylist/Franchisees then that contact data will be passed to those Stylist/Franchisees so they can fulfil that request and respond to you in the appropriate manner. They will only use your data for that purpose unless you give further permission for other uses.

Once you have completed your consultations with our Stylist/Franchisees then they may hold details on the results of that consultation including your seasonal colour, make up preferences and clothing personality. This data may then be used to filter out any offers or promotions that would not be suitable for you as well as other business uses.

Our site uses the latest secure server technology to ensure your information is protected to the highest standard, whenever you place an order or access your account information. The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software we use encrypts the information you input, ensuring that it is virtually impossible for unauthorised parties to read any information that you provide. All manual data is kept safe and secure.

We may need to share your personal information with companies that provide services on our behalf, such as printers, couriers, mailing houses, data hosting services, email providers. We always ensure these companies give your information the same level of care and security we do.
