I was blown away by the difference it made to have a House of Colour consultation. I'm already planning my new wardrobe. 10/10, i would definitely recommend it, it has been the best tonic, fab!.

At the weekend I had a transformation moment when I discovered my inner me. My personal colour palette should be Autumn , warm and mellow shades but I’ve been dressing to my character and those who know me will recognise this ( black, white, purple, red etc) Strong colours but now I’m very excited to relaunch my packaging starting with make up and going forward from there.

I cannot praise Julie highly enough. I have had an absolutely fantastic morning, full of surprises and totally self indulgent - fabulous! Julie is an absolute pleasure to spend time with. She is an expert in her field and I do not hesitate to recommend her. I met Julie through a women’s networking group, along with others who had already had their colours analysed by her and she came highly recommended; she is such a bubbly character.

Almost immediately when Julie started draping me with different colours that matched my season (Autumn) my whole face lit up, it was like the sun had suddenly come out and when she draped me in a colour that was not right for me to give me a comparison the light went out. 

I realised for many years I had been going into shops to buy clothes, particularly those for work and seeing a dress or skirt and just thinking ‘that will do’. Well I had been walking around for many years feeling nothing more than I blended in with the crowd, no one noticed me and I didn’t feel special in any way.  Now I knew why!

When I put on my colours I felt bright, confident and noticeable.  It made me smile which added even more warmth to my personality. 

My ‘go to colours’ in the past were black and dark blue, so wrong!  I now wear orange, mustard yellow and many, many other colours I would never have worn in the past.  I go into shops and head straight for my colours, I am in no way attracted to any clothes that are not the right colour for me. I feel so much more alive, more confident, more me!

Without a doubt that day was really fun, you cannot be with Julie and not have fun, but it was so much more than that. It opened my eyes to who I really am and made me realise I am worthy of being noticed in a crowd.  I do want to walk into a room and be noticed, that is a great feeling, particularly when you always walk in with a smile on your face because you feel so fabulous.  The confidence boost is enormous. 

I would strongly recommend to anyone to have a colour analysis and even better to have your style and make up done as well.  You have an expert in Julie, you only have to look at her to see how vibrant and attractive she is and that’s because she knows what makeup suits her and what colours flatter her and she makes the most of that.

Oh yes Julie so insightful. I cannot get over how many comments I have had in the last six months about how well I look! I smile inside knowing people have no idea that through your guidance on the right colour and make up for my skin tone and choosing clothes which suit me I seem to appear differently.

I look back at my subdued and mute colours from two years ago and now my personality is shining through.

I’m not sure everyone would describe me as having a ‘sunny disposition’, but Julie Jackson did! Well, Julie found I’m a ‘Summer’ colour in my recent Colour Analysis! It was an eye opening experience, literally, I can now see the sparkle in my big blue eyes!

After piling on the pounds recently for one reason or another, I have grown out of love for myself and become incredibly tired of looking in the mirror and seeing a cloud of grey.

Julie did a fantastic job of making me comfortable while she showed me what colours made me look great to wear, shades of makeup and she even made me look younger!

We go to a professional for most advice, so why not do so with how you look, every day, where making first impressions are key in business and social settings. 

For now, please bear with me while I phase out the dull ‘corporate’ wear… oh and I’ll work on that sunny smile.

It's easy to get stuck in a rut, and if I'm honest I sometimes dressed to be invisible.

The session with Julie was a real eye opener (literally!) and was a great way to focus on how I want to come across and what really brings the best out in me. Julie was warm and patient and really explained the power of colours. Since my session, I have had lots of comments such as - Have I had my haircut? Have I been away? Have I lost weight? But no, I am just wearing better colour choices that complement me better.

I had my colours done last Friday! Well, I had colour analysis - something I have wanted to do for years. Scientifically the colours we wear can make us look brighter, healthier, and even younger! It’s all to do with tones of colour and how colours interact and it’s GENIUS. I say my face change completely before my eyes, just because of the fabric surrounding it. The difference was overwhelming and I think quite possibly life changing! Its going to end up saving me a lot of time and money going forward. It was SO much fun - almost like therapy with some imaging and dreaming thrown in. I left feeling like a new woman !

We even covered hair colour, make up, jewellery, nail colour and even shoes and bags! I can’t wait to go back to learn about dressing for my shape, personality & lifestyle - it was a game changer thank you Julie!
