I have been a great believer in everything to do with the House of Colour over the years and have attended the image, colours and make up sessions. It has transformed me as a person and enhanced the way I feel. I thought I knew what I was doing. Sarah took me through my wardrobe and she gently helped me weed out what didn’t work, enabled me to recognise what pieces I truly loved and what would work with other pieces. Recently my sister and I had a joint virtual style session (2 x three hour sessions) with the absolutely lovely Sarah Biancardi. It was amazing, so much fun!

It was so well organised. We had some prep work to do before the session which was all explained by email and the style booklet was posted out. Then it was just a matter of setting up Zoom and enjoying the session from the comfort of our own bedrooms!

There was a mix of theory, conversation to gather information about us both and some trying on of current clothes that do and don’t work. Sarah mixed it up so it wasn’t heavy on one aspect for too long and there were short comfort breaks when needed.

Having a virtual style session over two days was really helpful as it gave us time to process everything and have questions ready for the second session.

All of our style notes were promptly emailed out and then we were both good to go! Our first shopping trip is already planned and we’ve got everything we need to make the right decisions now and on every shopping trip in the future.

So if you’re thinking about a style session I highly recommend Sarah and if you can’t get to her in person the remote sessions work really well. Go for it!

In the last couple of weeks, I have had a colour and style analysis with Sarah. Whilst I was fairly confident in my choices in both style and colour I can’t believe how much I have learnt. From my colour analysis I realised there are so many other colours I can wear, I never dreamt I could pull off mustard, but I am going to be doing so from now on.  With regards to my style I have always been what is termed a classic dresser however, I always struggled with the fact that this might make me boring and so I looked for different styles and features which means I have a fairly eclectic wardrobe more because I want to be different than because it suits me.  By looking at my personality and lifestyle and delving into the ‘why’ I purchased some of my items Sarah was able to explain that this is the Gamine in me and showed me how to have the strong ‘Classic’ blended with the playful ‘Gamine’ and be Smart-Chic.

I cannot recommend these sessions enough I am now so confident that the choices I make will not only be right for me but will make the impact I strive for.

Tbh I had reservations about having my colours done. I probably fall into the typical ‘guy’ category – I want to look good but I don’t want to try hard – and I wasn’t entirely convinced of the value of the session. I took the plunge after my wife went on and on about how it has positively impacted her life, and honestly I can’t be happier that I did it. Sarah was incredible. She was welcoming, accommodating, and patient with my many questions. She took me through the process and made sure I understood what we were trying to achieve and how my colours can be applied. Sarah’s knowledge and passion were infectious. And it really was fascinating to see how the slightest difference in colour heightens or washes your features. Sarah also made sure I walked away confident in my understanding so that I can immediately apply what I learned, both to my current clothes and as I look to enhance my wardrobe with key pieces that really work well for me. I’m not much of a ‘shopper’, so having this knowledge is immensely useful when looking for new clothes. That said, I know there is a lot still to learn and appreciate that I can reach out to her for further support or sessions when necessary.

There was no stone unturned whilst determining my season colour pallet, and the additional skincare and make up session really made it the perfect self care day too. Sarah is the most professional, approachable and kind soul, with a plethora of knowledge in her field. She gently steered me into a world of “winter” colours I love, but would never think were “for me” before! Wow! Sarah was fantastic! Perfect girly day out and so interesting to learn about the impact our colours can have. Sarah was so good at explaining it to us as we went we could really see the difference on each other. We also did the makeup which I highly recommend too as it just ties it all in & it is great to no longer have to stare at aisles of lipsticks and not know which shade will suit. Just wish we had done it sooner! Sarah is so knowledgeable, approachable, has a great eye and makes the whole thing so much fun. Sarah is amazing, she really took the time to figure out my complex colouring and identify not just my best 'season' but the specific colours of that season that worked hardest for me. She has even been on hand to help me identify the items in my wardrobe that work best with my colouring.

I recently had a Style Analysis session on a 1-1 basis with Sarah , this was conducted online via zoom and worked perfectly. It really worked well for several reasons, I had all my clothes to hand to try on when we were looking at my current outfits and analysing what worked and what didn’t , It was really convenient not having to travel any distance and as I had done the session over 2 days , I was able to send over pictures of my outfits on day one for assessment for the next session which really worked well. I found the sessions were extremely informative , full of great tips, ideas and small little tweaks to help me on my journey with selecting the clothes that match my personality and importantly my shape.  I have already tried some ideas out which have already brought out some nice compliments from people saying how well I looked ( I had the colour analysis earlier before). The session was backed up with a full comprehensive list of notes and tips that were discussed throughout the session. A great touch was sarah  put together a mood board of suggested outfits and ideas to try out and suggested shops I could try that I hadn’t thought of.

I am so pleased I went for the session as it has given me a much better idea on what to look for when I go shopping, saving me a lot of time and money on clothes I end up never hardly wearing and hopefully making the experience of shopping a lot more fun and less frustrating.

During the first lockdown last year, me and my sister had a joint virtual style session with the lovely Sarah! Although we could have waited for the restrictions to lift to have a face to face studio session, we decided to go for it as we were too excited to wait! Sarah reassured us how it would work and sure enough we were not disappointed! The session was delivered via zoom over two days with two 3hr sessions. It was all so well organised by Sarah that we didn’t at any stage feel rushed, or like we were missing out by not being in her studio. Her professionalism, knowledge and passion meant the sessions flowed really well and were fun too! They were a mix of initial prep work, conversation fact finding, theory and trying on clothes from our existing wardrobe. And then Sarah revealed our personal style with detailed guidance and tips on how to make it work for us. I would highly recommend Sarah and if you can’t get to her studio because of lockdown or any other reason, and perhaps have some reservations of booking a virtual style session, you needn’t worry! It works really well, is great fun and all from the comfort of your own home!

I had huge reservations about having my style analysed remotely. I felt like it wouldn’t be the same experience as being in Sarah’s amazing studio, where I had previously had my colours analysed. However, it turned out I could not have been more wrong. The first session involved trying on a selection of my clothes to enable Sarah to decipher my style personality. During the session I was able to keep dashing upstairs to find extra items, retrieve random jewellery and shoes - I think I tried on/showed Sarah about 75% more than I would have taken to her studio, and it made all the difference. I was even able to show her photos of outfits I no longer possessed, but which ended up being key in my analysis. There was absolutely nothing about the session that was sub par- it was absolutely brilliant, and dare I say possibly more extensive and explorative than it would have been in the studio, with the selection of clothes I could have lugged over! Thank you so much Sarah- I should have trusted that you would never let your clients experience anything other than the very best. I cannot recommend Sarah enough- if anyone is delaying having their style analysed due to lock down I would encourage you to think again- you might get a lot more than you bargained for!

I have to put this in writing, for anyone who is like me . I am the person that would wait in a queue for a person, rather than opt for the machine. I like the personal touch see! After a year of saving and finally going for it, lockdown 2.0 hit and I had lots of reservations about having my style done virtually so kept waiting and waiting for the chance to do it in person. Surely its too forced and impersonal online? Not 'value' for money? Well I'm only 2 days post my second and final virtual style session and I wish I was 2 months in. Why did I not go for it before ? Never have any doubts that Sarah knows her stuff. Her impassioned approach, confidence and kindness (and patience!) shown towards me over my many toing and froings has just been outstanding. I dont feel short changed in anyway and with 2 little ones time to myself is a rarity. I said to my sister after my second that I felt as good as if I just had a spa treatment! Now i just need to navigate through the reams of information given by Sarah and recommendations to get me started onto my Natural Ingenue journey ! Its very clear that Sarah loves and believes in what she is doing and the wealth of knowledge she has is just amazing. House of Colour are lucky to have a rep such as Sarah, she is a true advocate for all things colour and style but most importantly a true advocate for self belief, self worth and self love. After having my colours and style done I wanted to know where to go from here.  Sarah came over and did a wardrobe edit.  This was an incredibly valuable and cathartic experience.  Sarah very kindly and professionally went through every single piece of clothing I owned.  We spoke about the fabric, the colour, the style and whether I actually wore the item of clothing or not.  This guidance meant that I could really home in on the pieces that I did love and the pieces I no longer needed.  Sarah was then able to show me the gaps I had in my wardrobe.  I now know what to look for when shopping which will save me time and money.  Thanks to Sarah I am extremely excited about building my new wardrobe.  I would definitely recommend having a wardrobe edit.  This service is extremely helpful and very productive.  Thank you!

I had a consultation with Sarah as I have always struggled with feeling self-concious about my weight and my 'problem areas'. I had no idea how to dress well and found clothes shopping and extremely stressful experience.

Sarah did a colour analysis on me and what an amazing experience! She was very welcoming and took her time and tried different colours to get the right season and the right wow colours that suit me. I had an excellent session with Sarah which started with a Danish pastry and coffee Having had my colours analysed about 25 years ago I thought it was time for a refresh because my skin and hair have changed over the years. Being a certain age I own a lot of clothes but tend to wear the same colour combinations and "have nothing to wear". Sarah suggested many colour combinations which I have put into practice; these have given me such a lift and of course expanded my wardrobe. She also advised on my make-up which had also become a bit samey over the years. I would thoroughly recommend a visit - I went in feeling tired and came out with a positive bounce in my step.

I had a wonderful experience with Sarah, the colour analysis was amazing and something I’d never appreciated before. A change in shade of a colour had such an impact on my appearance going from dull to glowing instantly! The style analysis was great too, detailing styles that will suit my body architecture (neck lines, dress length etc) but also allowing my own personality to shine through in what I wear.

I got so many key take aways from my session with Sarah and I now feel much more equipped to head on my way to achieving my ‘glow wardrobe’ (that’s what I like to call it!). We did Sarah’s Colour Workshop as two small groups on different days. Such a lovely day and a great opportunity to learn about the fundamentals for each of us to look our best! The session with Sarah was such a pleasurable flawless experience. Having never been to a colour image consultant before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I saw Sarah for both the colour and style analysis and I cannot recommend it enough. I had both my colours and personal styling done with Sarah, and had a great experience!

Sarah has been super communicative from booking through to post-session support, and put me right at ease in her adorable home studio (complete with a little tea/coffee/biscuits corner, and snacks!).

I was excited for the session but also nervous about having my style scrutinised, but Sarah made me feel super comfortable throughout the entire session. Both my colouring and personal style were a little tricky to nail down as I was close to the border for both, but Sarah was persistent in getting to the right answer and double- and triple-checked to ensure I was correctly matched with my season and style.

After the session, Sarah provided a lot of support as well - she promptly sent me all the content and photos from our session, as well as all the recommendations etc. that I had asked for (e.g. local seamstress/jeweller/etc). She also followed up immediately on an ad-hoc request on identifying autumn colours in the Dylon range, so I could dye my (many, many) bright whites to a more autumnal colour.

I've been wearing my colours since my session and feel much more comfortable in my clothes and make-up! If you are thinking about booking a session - don't hesitate! I couldn't have asked for a more attentive and fun stylist.

I attended a colour Analysis with Sarah after a family recommendation. It the best thing I have done, it was absolutely amazing to see in front of my eyes the colours which I suit. I had a wonderful style session with Sarah recently and highly recommend her.  After having previously had a colour session with her, I decided I really wanted to move away from the clothing rut I have been stuck in so booked the style session.  I felt quite nervous and vulnerable at the thought of looking at my body proportions given that I am not the weight I would like, but Sarah put me totally at ease and actually it felt very positive to be looking at ways to enhance what I have and personalise it to the style category I fall in so that I feel like myself.  I left with a wealth of information which will help me start to make more meaningful purchases in the long term but also ways to make some easy and quick changes with accessories etc.  Sarah is a wonderful host and makes the whole process clear and easy.  The sessions we have had together allowed me to take huge steps forward from what was a low point in my life and leave behind the constant feeling and dread of having "nothing to wear" despite having multiple wardrobes of clothes!

I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for hosting such a wonderful session for me - I rarely focus on just me, and I've found it such a lovely boost to my confidence to spend time with you and unearth some informationabout myself that I was a bit blind to!

I'll take some time to properly look through all the info you've given me and start the process of weaving these lovely colours more wholeheartedly into my world.  In the meantime, the make-up is amazing quality.  I'm loving the lipsticks - especially the geranium one!  And actually this and the nude one blend together nicely too.

Sarah hosted us in a lovely light welcoming space, which was kitted out with all we could need for the day.
